The Tennessee Titans are set to receive a major boost along the offensive line as right tackle JC Latham is expected to be activated from the team's Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
The move means Latham has successfully passed his physical and has been cleared to begin working his way back into practice after missing the opening portion of training camp.
Head coach Robert Saleh announced the update prior to Thursday's practice, offering encouraging news about one of the Titans' cornerstone offensive linemen.
"JC is coming off PUP today," Saleh said. "So you'll see him with a helmet. He won't fully be integrated into practice, but we'll work him in, hopefully."
While Latham won't immediately return to full-speed team drills, his activation marks an important milestone in his recovery. The Titans are expected to ease him back into action as they continue preparations for the 2026 season.
Latham, a first-round draft pick, is expected to play a key role in protecting quarterback Cam Ward and anchoring Tennessee's offensive front. His return adds experience and physicality to an offensive line that has been working through camp without one of its projected starters.
The Titans initially placed Latham on the PUP list before training camp with what the team described as a short-term injury. His activation keeps him on track to continue building chemistry with the offense as preseason preparations ramp up.
With Latham now back on the practice field, the Titans move one step closer to having their starting offensive line fully intact heading into the season. But many questions still remain...
